Historic Mill with cascading waterfall and river view provided the perfect wedding location. The Mill at the Yellow River is located just 30 minutes east from Atlanta and a hidden gem. Escape the city bustle to the green hills and peaceful country side. if you are looking for a unique waterfall wedding or elopement location, this venue has it all. The venue also provides a rustic, chic reception room to celebrate your special day. The bride got ready in her own, bright and spacious bridal suite with her bridesmaids. She looked so elegant in her embellished semi-sheer gown, which included custom made cape. We took the bridesmaids pictures and bridal portraits at their suite. The bridesmaids received jewelry as a thank-you gift. Including a custom sign “Not sisters by blood but sisters by heart”, which was so heart felt. The groom, getting ready in a separate building, looked stylish in his black and white tux. I loved the custom embroidery inside the grooms jacket with couples names and date. The ceremony took place outside overlooking the river, a round arch was decorated with beautiful white roses. There was a hush when the bride made her entrance, escorted by her brother. Her cape gently flew in the wind, she looked stunning and the groom could not hold back tears seeing his beautiful bride. The couples adorable children were also. included in the wedding as junior groomsmen, a flower girl and a ring bearer. After the ceremony guests were invited for cocktails in the lawn and enjoyed live music by a saxophonist. The buildings long corridors and textured walls provided a perfect stop for unique portraits. We were allowed a secret entrance to the river by the wedding planner. The waterfalls provided stunning backdrop for the couple portraits. We had the drone take additional aerial scenic pictures of the couple in this beautiful scenery. I could have stayed there for ever but we had to get the sweet couple ready for their grand entrance and reception. At the grand entrance the couple were cheered by the guests as they took to the dance floor and celebrated their marriage to the romantic music. Tables were beautifully decorated with green garlands and white roses along with candles. String lights along the ceiling provided romantic lighting in this rustic and charming room. We were truly blessed to have been captured this amazing day with their wonderful couple.
